What Boone is

Boone is a shared planning memory for one family, provided by Kinrich Labs. It runs inside an AI assistant you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, or another client that speaks the same protocol — and keeps track of what your family tells it.

Using Boone means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not, do not connect it.

Your assistant is not ours

You bring your own assistant and your own subscription to it. Anthropic and OpenAI set their own terms and their own prices, we have no control over either, and your conversation happens on their side of the line. If your assistant misquotes Boone, loses a message, or changes what it charges you, that is between you and them.

Your family's information is yours

We claim no ownership of anything your family tells Boone. You can see it, correct it, export it, and delete it at any time, and the privacy policy describes exactly how.

We use it to run the service for you and for nothing else — no advertising, no selling it on, and no training AI models on it.

What an owner can do

The person who starts a family is its owner, and joining a family means trusting whoever owns it. An owner can invite people, remove them, hand ownership to someone else, and delete the family and everything in it.

Deleting a family is permanent and it takes everyone's records with it, not just the owner's. Boone asks first and says plainly what will go. There is no undo, so if you want a copy, ask Boone for one before you say yes.

Being removed from a family, or leaving, ends your access to it. What you contributed stays with the family, still attributed to you — the same way a message you sent to a group does not vanish when you leave it.

What we ask of you

• Do not invite people to your family who have not agreed to join it. An invitation shares everything your family has ever told Boone, going back to the beginning.
• Do not use Boone to store other people's information for purposes they would not expect — it is a family's planning memory, not a database of third parties.
• Do not try to reach another family's records, break the service, or work around its limits.
• Do not use Boone for anything illegal, or to harass anyone.

Early software, honestly labelled

Boone is in its first weeks and is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, that it will never lose anything, or that what it remembers will always be right. It is a planning aid, and the plans, the decisions, and the consequences stay yours — do not rely on it for anything where being wrong would be serious.

To the extent the law allows, Kinrich Labs is not liable for loss arising from your use of Boone. Where the law does not allow that, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is currently nothing.

Ending it

You can stop at any time: disconnect Boone from your assistant, leave your family, or delete it outright. An owner cannot simply leave — hand the family over to someone else first, or delete it if you are the only one left — because a family with nobody in charge could never be administered or erased again.

We can suspend or end access to an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to shut the service down. If we ever close Boone, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your family's records first — leaving with nothing would make every promise on the privacy page hollow.

Changes

These terms will change as the product does. We will update the date at the top, and if a change materially affects you we will say so through Boone rather than quietly editing the page.
