Boone is not an app you install. It runs inside the assistant you already pay for — Claude, ChatGPT, or anything else that speaks MCP. This is the last bit of setup, and it is one paste.

The button below copies a short message — nothing else happens yet. Paste it into a new chat with your assistant, and it will either add Boone itself or tell you exactly where to.

Please add Boone as a custom connector. Boone is a remote MCP server at https://mcp.iamboone.app/mcp. If you are ChatGPT, add it as an MCP plugin — custom connectors are not available on every plan. Add it yourself if you can. If you cannot, tell me the steps to add it, prioritising this app’s own settings UI over command-line or direct file edits. Once it is connected, ask Boone to introduce itself and tell me what it won’t do without asking.

Which assistant are you using?

  • Claude. Needs a paid plan. Boone is added as a custom connector — a remote one, so nothing is installed and no configuration file is edited.
  • ChatGPT. Needs a paid plan, and developer mode switched on once before a custom connector can be added at all. If your plan does not offer custom connectors, add Boone as an MCP plugin instead.
  • Anything else that speaks MCP — Copilot, Cursor, a coding agent, your own client. Add Boone the way that client adds a remote MCP server, using the address above.

Once it is connected

Ask Boone to introduce itself, and to tell you what it won’t do without asking. Then just say what is on your plate — there is no list to build first, that part is Boone’s. If you are the family’s owner, you can ask @boone to invite the rest of your family by email.

Boone is early software, and it keeps what you tell it. The address above is the permanent one — but this is a small product in its first weeks, so give it the trust you would give anything that new. What you can count on is that nothing Boone holds is locked away from you: ask what it knows and it will tell you, ask for a copy of everything and it will give you one, correct anything wrong, and ask it to forget something and it goes — with one known gap in that last one, described on the privacy page.
